Afternoon Sessions
Afternoon sessions at Lord Gowthorpe's concentrate on the needs of the individual children. From additional Maths and English lessons delivered in ultra small groups and 1:2:1 to help bridge gaps, especially for our students that may have been missing education for some time and need some extra support.

Afternoons also include our vocational lessons, helping students to become more independent with lessons from financing to cookery.

We also complete lessons in Art and DT which follow the GCSE curriculum, introducing our students to different artists and key historical figures in the world of creative arts.

Afternoons will also include educational visits including visits to workplaces and academic institutes, helping our young people to look at the next steps in their academic and work life journeys.
